Barthes called it a message without a code. Sontag called it a predation dressed as memory. Neither was wrong, and neither was enough. The photograph has always exceeded its theorists — it is evidence and fiction in the same instant, the punctum and the propaganda, the thing that happened and the thing you were told happened. We don't resolve that tension. We intend to find the in-betweens*, a drop in an entire ocean.

Submission - Open Call
We are looking for ideas/work with a point of view. A series that knows what it's about, even if you're still figuring out how to say it. We're not looking for the technically perfect body of work — we're looking for the one that makes us stop scrolling.
